RISOS Acceptable Use Policy

1. Lawful use and rights

You may not use RISOS for unlawful activity, fraud, deception, infringement of intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, contractual, or other rights, unauthorized impersonation, or activity that violates a binding obligation you owe to another person or service.

2. Safety and abuse

You may not use RISOS to threaten, exploit, harass, abuse, facilitate serious harm, distribute malware, obtain credentials without authorization, or create or distribute unlawful or non-consensual content.

3. Security and service integrity

You may not compromise or attempt to compromise accounts, systems, networks, authentication, API keys, rate limits, quotas, access controls, billing controls, monitoring safeguards, or provider restrictions. Security testing requires authorization. You may not intentionally create excessive load, denial-of-service conditions, or other interference with RISOS or a third-party service.

4. Source-platform and data-provider rules

RISOS uses approved public sources, licensed datasets, official APIs, and policy-controlled provider access. You may not use RISOS to scrape, circumvent, reconstruct, export, redistribute, retain, combine, or repurpose source-platform data in a way that violates the applicable source provider’s terms, developer policies, display requirements, retention rules, attribution rules, authorization scope, or other access conditions.

If RISOS limits raw display, export, retention, embeddings, model processing, or downstream use for a source, you may not use the API, MCP, browser automation, or another method to defeat that limit. Provider-specific requirements described in the Terms and Privacy Policy also apply.

5. AI and model-assisted features

You may not use RISOS AI features to violate law or rights, deceptively impersonate another person, remove a legally required disclosure or provenance signal, bypass source-policy controls, process credentials or payment-card data, or make prohibited consequential decisions. RISOS is not designed to make autonomous legal, medical, credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other regulated eligibility decisions.

6. Sensitive and restricted information

Do not submit passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, full payment-card numbers, government-issued identifiers, regulated health records, children’s data, or other highly sensitive information unless a RISOS feature expressly states that it is designed and authorized to process that category. The current general research service is not designed for those categories.

7. API and MCP use

Developers must protect credentials, use least-privilege scopes, comply with documented request and concurrency limits, respect data-delivery restrictions, and provide appropriate terms, privacy disclosures, and permissions for downstream applications. You may not resell credentials, expose secrets in public code, or use developer interfaces to recover intentionally restricted source payloads.

8. Resource, plan, and account abuse

You may not evade plan limits, manipulate credits or usage accounting, create accounts to circumvent restrictions, abuse anonymous preview access, resell the service contrary to an applicable agreement, or use automation in a way that materially harms service integrity.

9. Enforcement

RISOS may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including warning, limiting functionality, revoking credentials, removing access to a provider-dependent capability, suspending an account or workspace, or terminating access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, RISOS, or others or to comply with law.

10. Reporting

Report suspected abuse, security concerns, or policy violations to hello@risos.co. Do not include passwords, API keys, or other secrets in an email report.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when RISOS capabilities, provider requirements, or legal obligations change. Material changes will receive any notice required by applicable law or the governing agreement.
